Animal Crossing: New Horizons has started the fall season on September 1st. With the new season, we ushered in a golden autumn. Residents in the northern hemisphere, your ACNH Island should already feel the breath of cozy autumn. It's time to put on a new autumn outfit for your island. Nintendo has also prepared a series of new seasonal items and decorations for your island. As always, if you want to get them, you have to collect materials and DIY recipes. ACNH Autumn Acorns & Pine Cones and Tree's Bounty Items

Acorns now grow on deciduous and fruit trees, and pine cones can be shaken from fir trees. It pays to be a little more persistent - acorns and cones usually don't fall from the tree on the first shaker.

Available Date: September 1st to November 30th (Northern Hemisphere) / March 1st to June 11th (Southern Hemisphere)

• How To Collect Acorns & Pine Cones: The materials shaken from the tree do not just serve as decoration that you put on the ground. You can pick them up and use them as resources for special crafting DIY Recipes to craft Tree's Bounty items.

• How To Get Tree's Bounty DIY Recipes: You can get them in three different way. Either they are in balloons, in a message in a bottle, or your residents give them to you. Since you have until November 30th, finding the nine guides shouldn't be a big problem.

How Many Acorns & Pine Cones You Need For All Tree's Bounty Items: In order to be able to tinker all Tree's Bounty Furbiture once, you need a total of 30 acorns and 22 cones. We do suggest you can collect as more as possible during the time, as you would need some in the rest of the year and also you can sell them or give them to your friends.

ACNH Autumn Maple Leaves & Maple Leaf Furniture

During the fall, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players will notice red maple leaves flying around.  Just like cherry blossom leaves, these maple leaves are used to make exclusive fall furniture. During a limited-time, autumn leaves fall from the deciduous trees that you can catch with the net. 

• Available Date: November 16-26 (Northern Hemisphere) / May 16-26 (Southern Hemisphere)

• Capture Time: All Day (seem to be less common at night sometimes, so it might be worth focusing your hunting during the daytime)

• Used For: Craft Maple Leaf Furniture with their special DIY Crafting recipes

• How To Get Maple Leaf in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Searching for a brown leaf falling from the sky on your island during this limited period in the Autumn. When you do finally spot a Maple Leaf falling in the air, simply equip your Flimsy Net or Net tool and try catching the brown leaf in the same way that you catch bugs. 

• How To Get Maple Leaf DIY Recipes: You can get them in two different way - Isabelle will send Red-Leaf Pile DIY Crafting recipe to your NookPhone during the morning announcements, all Balloon Presents flying in the sky over your island have a chance of dropping a Maple Leaf DIY Crafting recipe during Maple Leaf season. But remember that it’s mostly dependent on luck taking time and patience.

ACNH Autumn Mushrooms & Mush Furniture Items

When autumn arrives in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the mushroom season starts too - diverse mushrooms appear around your trees in the fall. Northern Hemisphere players will find mushrooms for the entire month of November, and Southern Hemisphere players will see the mushroom throughout May. You can also only find Mushroom DIY Recipes during this time. Players can collect these and make various items from them. 

Animal Crossing New Horizons Mushrooms Types

• Used For: All mushrooms are a seasonally exclusive Fall materials that is used to complete Mushroom-series DIY recipes for lovely mush themed furniture (furniture, wallpaper, flooring, accessories, and more). 

• How To Get Mushrooms in Animal Crossing: New Horizons: The mushrooms that you will need for the recipes will appear around the leafy trees. Most will be visible on the ground, but rare mushrooms will appear underground around these trees, indicated by the usual star-shaped digging point.

• Where & How To Get Rare Mushrooms: Rare Mushrooms are hidden out of sight, and you find them buried in the ground around trees marked by X star spots, just like Fossils. If you spot one, simply take out your Shovel and dig it up. a 5 Star Island rating with Isabelle at Resident Services may increase your chances of finding Rare Mushrooms on your island. The chance of mushroom spawn are effected by the rate of your island. The higher the rate of the island, the more rare mushrooms appear:
