Animal Crossing New Horizons Anniversary 1.9.0 Update
Good news for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players. Apparently, this March 18, we will receive a lot of new features with a new update. This is the previously confirmed update to make the game compatible with the Sanrio news. However, it appears that this update also includes new features to assist players, the return of the Egg Hunt, and more seasonal events and new ACNH items.
ACNH April 2021 Events and Items
The AnimalCrossing: New Horizons update arrives on March 18th, bringing Sanrio themed items and residents through the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack amiibo cards, Custom Design enhancements, and new seasonal items. ACNH 1st Anniversary Items

How To Get: Download the 1.9.0 version update and get it for free in your mailbox
To celebrate the Anniversary of Animal Crossing New Horizons, a free “1st Anniversary Cake” item made by Tanuki Development will be delivered to everyone's mailbox that has been updated to "Ver 1.9.0".
Sanrio Themed Items and Villagers
Items: 6 Sanrio Villagers & Related Themed Furniture

How To Get: Use Sanrio amiibo card to invite villager to your campsite and buy Sanrio items in Nook Shopping with bells after updating your game to 1.9.0
By downloading the update Ver.1.9.0, your game will be compatible with the Animal Crossing: New Leaf amiibo cards and amiibo card from the new Sanrio Characters Collaboration. You can order collaboration items with the image of Sanrio characters, solicit residents drawn on the card at the campsite, or take a commemorative photo at the studio of "Panny Island". For celebrating Fools Day, the Whoopie Cushion item will be available in a different colors each day at Nook Shopping from March 26 to April 1st, which allows you to play a harmless prank with your villagers.
ACNH 2021 Bunny Day Items
Items: Easter Eggs, Bunny Day themed DIY recipes & Items, New Added Items

How To Get:
Easter Eggs: Dig up eggs on ground for free
Bunny Day Themed DIY recipes: From floating balloon presents on sky and drifting bottle on beach
Bunny Day Themed Items: Craft with DIY recipes, eggs and other materials; visit Nook’s Cranny from 3/28 to 4/4 to grab one item from the Bunny Day series each day; buy new added exclusive items at Nook’s Cranny.
The "Easter" festival will be held on April 4th (Sun) this year, although the days vary depending on the year. On the island, it seems that "eggs" will begin to be hidden here and there from Sunday, March 28, a week ago. Whether you participated last year or are new to it, collect various eggs and DIY special furniture! From this year, furniture related to Easter will be lined up at "Nook’s Cranny" from March 28th to April 4th. Items that are different from DIY using eggs are lined up, so please check this out as well.
High school Prom Items

Korean Singmogil Day Items

April 5th (Monday) is an anniversary called "Singmogil Day" in Korea and is considered to be the day to plant trees. You can order "Forsythia" from April 1st to April 10th, so why not decorate your island?

April 22 (Thursday) is "Earth Day". It is said to be a day to think about the global environment.

ACNH Nook Points

How To Get: Earn on Nook Link service inside of the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app
The Nook Link service that can be used with the smartphone app Nintendo Switch Online will also be updated in late March. With this update, you will be able to accumulate "Nook Points" once a day. You can exchange the accumulated points for your favorite prizes and send them to Animal Crossing New Horizons.
