ACNH Turkey Day Update 2021 - Thanksgiving Events, Items, DIY Recipes & Datamine In Animal Crossing
As we entered fall season in Animal Crossing New Horizons, only a matter of weeks away from some of the last events in 2021. Nintendo has brought a form of update or refreshes to holidays and events. In order to let players have something to towards rather than just playing through an event they already a year ago. Therefore, there will be refreshed content with the Halloween Event and Turkey day event in Animal Crossing. Today, we are mainly focused on the ACNH Turkey day (Harvest Festival, Thanksgiving) update 2021. We are going over the release date, how to obtain Thanksgiving items and complete new furniture set along with a bonus item during the Animal Crossing Harvest Festival update.
Animal Crossing New Horizons Thanksgiving Turkey Day Release Date & Time
ACNH Turkey Day events start on November 25 from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The special character Franklin will visit your island and kickstart Harvest Festival in Animal Crossing New Horizons, in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday in real life.

On the Harvest Festival, Franklin will set up in the resident services front yard, we will be cooking a variety of dishes for the entire island in celebration of this ACNH Thanksgiving event update 2021. There's a total of four different dishes that each require its own set of ingredients. By locating all the correct ingredients and returning them to Franklin you have the chance to earn up to 12 different Turkey Day furniture items or their recipes. There is an order to which Turkey Day items you receive whilst playing through the event along with a random element. Moreover, there are 12 Turkey Day DIY recipes, eight of which are craftable whilst the remaining four are physical items.
ACNH Turkey Day Items & DIY Recipes
The new normal for obtaining limited-time Animal Crossing Thanksgiving event items in New Horizons is earning both actual items as well as their recipes. The Turkey Day Rug, Wall, Flooring and Cornucopia are ACNH items that Franklin will reward you with during the ACNH Thanksgiving event and cannot be crafted whereas the other eight items including the Turkey Day Table and Casserole can be earned and crafted again later if you want to.

How to get ACNH Turkey Day items
On the one hand, in order to obtain Turkey Day Rug, Turkey Day Wall, Turkey Day Flooring and Cornucopia, you will need to take part in the November Turkey Day Event in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Completing the first dish will earn you the Turkey Day Rug item. Completing the second dish will earn you the Turkey Day Wall item. Completing the third dish will earn you the Turkey Day Flooring item. Completing the fourth dish will earn you the Cornucopia item. So you will be rewarded with four of the 12 items for successfully helping Franklin cook these recipes.
On the other hand, in order to obtain the rest of the items, you must provide Franklin with the desired ingredients for that particular dish.
What’s the bonus item?
Each dish also has a secret ingredient that helps enhance the dish after it's cooked. It gives extra sparkle if you find the secret ingredient for the first three dishes. Franklin will reward you with a random Turkey Day item for each of the remaining eight items.
Once you manage to find the final secret ingredient for the fourth dish, you'll earn a bonus item. The bonus item for completing the event finding all the standard and secret ingredients for all four dishes is the Turkey Day Set DIY Recipe Pack, which will teach you eight Turkey Day recipes for all of the craftable items. The Turkey Day Diy Recipe Pack will also be available to purchase from Nook's Cranny with ACNH bells the next day after the event has finished.
ACNH Turkey Day 2021 Datamine
Thanks to the hard work of data miners, we know Nintendo is already making changes and essentially preparing for Animal Crossing Turkey Day. It was uncovered in the latest data mine that the development team has already been tinkering with the Turkey Day items and removing a whole bunch of images associated with the harvest furnished items. These include the Turkey Day Casserole, the Turkey Day Chair, and the Turkey Day Table, the Turkey Day Decorations, Table Setting, Wheat Decor, the Turkey Day Darden Stand and the Turkey Day Half. Therefore, in total eight images for Turkey Day furniture items were removed.
Don't worry these items weren't actually removed from the game. They were likely associated with the Turkey Day Diy Pack. It's not that the items were removed, but they're icons. This is because you literally learn the recipes on the spot when you purchase them, therefore making the icons you would seem redundant. Moreover, we will see a new set of items added in the next Animal Crossing November update pretty soon.
