A Relic in Elden Ring Nightreign is a form of permanent progression tied to individual characters known as Nightfarers. If you're looking for the best Elden Ring Nightreign relics for every character, this article is for you.
Relics provide passive bonuses to Nightfarers and are a core part of character growth and customization. Once acquired, relics can be equipped in the Roundtable Hold, offering unique advantages that carry over into future runs. Each Nightfarer has three relic slots, which are color-coded to restrict what can be equipped where. There are four relic colors in the game, each representing a specific “Scene”: Red (Burning Scene), Green (Tranquil Scene), Blue (Drizzly Scene), and Yellow (Luminous Scene). Without further ado, let's dive into Nightreign best relics.
1. Wilder’s Earring (Guaranteed Relic)
Additional grapple (enhances mobility and aggression).
Fire on Ultimate (adds fire element to ult, synergizes with fire relics).
Stamina recovery on attack (massive sustain in melee-heavy combat).
Wilder’s Earring is the best-in-slot, universally top-tier best relic in Elden Ring Nightreign. This relic defines Wylder’s aggressive identity—lets you stay on enemies longer without losing tempo.
2. RNG Fire Attack Relic (RNG Drop)
Partial HP restoration on post-damage attacks.
Fire Attack Power +2.
Synergizes perfectly with Wilder’s Earring (which turns ultimate into fire), creating a strong elemental identity and sustain.
3. Night of the Beast (Fire Starter Relic)
Changes starting armament to Fire.
Unique stamina recovery with every successful attack.
Core to the Fire Wylder Build—this relic turns fire bonuses from secondary relics into active power from the start of each encounter.
1. Witch’s Breach
Slowly restores allies' HP while your Ultimate (Art) is active.
+3 Vigor adds flat survivability.
This is BIS for Guardian—guaranteed sustain for both solo and co-op. Works extremely well since Guardian's ultimate is often held for long durations (while blocking).
2 . RNG Relic with:
Reflect portion of damage received when ability is activated (True Guard stance)
+3 Vigor
Character Skill Cooldown Reduction
Reflect melts fast-hitting enemies, and cooldown reduction keeps your crowd control skill up. This works perfectly with BB’s block/dodge counterstyle.
3. Knight of the Champion
Guard counter given a boost based on current HP – MUST-HAVE modifier.
+5 Endurance – Huge for stamina scaling.
Fully charged halberd guard counters hit like a truck when your HP is near full.
Skill Duration / Infinite Stamina Build (Best for Aggressive Tornado Spam)
1. Witch’s Breach (Core slot, always use)
2. RNG Relic with:
Increased duration for character skill (extends tornado from 1s to 5s)
+3 Vigor or Improved Crits / Ultimate Art Gauge Up
The longer tornado sucks enemies in and creates crowd control + stamina loop.
3. Knight of the Beast
Stamina recovers with each successful attack
Works even while reflecting in True Guard stance, forming a stamina battery.
While enemies hit the tornado and reflect shield, you regain stamina → enabling charged attacks or jump attacks without downtime.
Full Reflect + Passive Block Build (Best for Lazy Tank / Semi-AFK Playstyle)
1. Witch’s Breach
2. RNG Relic with:
Reflect damage while ability active
Cooldown reduction / stamina regen
Focus is on reflect, not active skill use.
3. Knight of the Champion
Guard counter HP scaling buff
Gives your halberd counterattacks +200–300 extra damage per hit.
High-Performance Everjail Slayer (Best for Bossing)
1. Relic: Additional Character Skill Use
Effect: +1 extra use of your character skill.
Max FP: Mostly irrelevant unless you're skill-spamming.
Holy Attack Power Up: Huge synergy with Edge of Order and Iron Eye’s innate Holy Bow scaling.
Gives you 2 Marks, massively improving repositioning, invulnerability frames, and uptime. This is a mobility and safety enabler. Two Marks allow better stick-and-move tactics and make difficult boss fights manageable.
2. Relic: Attack Power Increases Per Everjail Boss Defeated
Effect: +5% permanent damage per Everjail defeated (up to 35% or more).
This is the best flat scaling relic in the game if you’re doing a lot of content. Works passively and boosts all damage types, not just Holy or Bows. You rolled +3 Vigor and +1 Endurance — this is practically a god roll. A top-tier DPS & survivability hybrid relic.
3. Relic: Edge of Order
Boosts Thrust/Counterattack Damage after using your Ultimate Art.
Improved Bow Attack Power (main reason for taking it).
Starting Armament Deals Holy Damage.
Holy synergy with your bow and relic modifiers. The Improved Bow Attack Power is the core value here — perfect for ranged DPS builds.
Build 2: Stamina Sustain Bow Build (Best for Comfort / General Play)
1. Relic: Stamina Recovers With Each Successful Attack
Bonus effect: Holy Attack Power Up 2 – another nice boost to bow scaling and synergy.
Bows cost very little stamina, so stacking stamina-on-hit can make bow spam nearly infinite. Great for sustained ranged damage without needing to back off for stamina recovery.
2. Relic: Another Stamina Recovers With Each Attack
Stacks with the first one to allow near-infinite bow attacks, including jump shots, charged shots, or combo spam. Again, paired with Edge of Order for bow scaling.
3. Edge of Order
For Improved Bow Attack Power.Holy damage and counterattack boost are bonuses but mostly for the bow buff.
1. Crown Medal (Guaranteed Relic – Core Relic)
Dagger chain attack reprises event upon nearby enemies.
This relic automatically re-triggers Restage (or any reprise skill) on the final hit of a dagger chain combo. For Duchess, whose core strategy is rapid chaining of dagger R1s into Restage, this is insanely synergistic.
2. Improved Dagger Attack Power Relic (RNG Relic – Highly Recommended)
Boosts all dagger-based attacks.
Since all your triggers for Restage come from dagger R1 chains, this significantly boosts both the setup and the raw DPS of Duchess. Also amplifies black knife effects, bleeds, and counters — especially with faster animations. Likely a permanent slot unless you find something with dual rolls (dagger + restage scaling).
3. Improved Character Skill Attack Power Relic (Dex/Int roll)
Boosts character skill damage (Restage), minor Dex/Int bonuses
Restage damage benefits massively from this relic. The stat rolls (Dex/Int) are negligible, but the skill attack boost is vital. This relic alone may increase Restage damage by ~20-30%, making it essential in the build.
4. Grand Tranquil Scene (Guaranteed Endgame Relic – Utility Slot)
Restores partial HP after post-damage attacks
(+2 Vigor, +2 Poise)
Enables greedy play with longer dagger chains. You’ll often get hit mid-chain; this relic gives some safety and sustain. It’s great for extended boss fights, especially when chaining Restage and going toe-to-toe. The Vigor and Poise bonuses are also nice for surviving chip hits.
1. Legendary Grand Tranquil Scene – Best-in-Slot (Guaranteed Drop)
Damage taken while using character skill improves attack power and stamina (20s)
Triggers massive offensive and stamina regen boost after using Raider’s headbutt or punch (character skill). Can be kept up 100% of the time in combat due to short cooldown (approx. 10s). Boosts both burst damage and sustain, which is essential for a brawler like Raider. Scales even better in totem stance where stamina use and trade windows are longer.
2. Bloodborne Relic – Grand Tranquil Scene (Guaranteed Drop)
Partial HP restoration upon post-damage attacks
(+2 Vigor, +2 Poise):
Raider is a frontline brawler — he trades hits, gets hit often, and stays close. This relic sustains him passively through all the chip damage. Best Bloodborne relic in the game for Raider, hands down.
3. Taking Damage = Bonus Damage Relic (RNG Drop – Highly Recommended)
Taking damage increases attack power by 15% for 10 seconds
Works perfectly with Raider’s core loop: take a hit → punch → swing big. Consistent uptime in most fights since Raider does not dodge often. 15% universal damage bonus is massive.
4. Evergaol-Based Stacking Relic (e.g., +5% Attack Power per Evergaol, +3 Vigor +3 Endurance)
Scaling damage bonuses from Evergaol shards or enhancements. Synergizes with high-endurance builds that can wear heavier armor or trade longer. Also increases vital defensive stats.
Best Relics for Recluse – High-Damage Glass Cannon Build
1. Magic Attack Power +2 Relic (RNG – Core Offensive Slot)
Magic attack power increased by 2 tiers.
Secondary effect: Items confer effect to all allies – nice to have in co-op, but not essential.
This is the most important flat damage multiplier for Recluse’s spells. Magic Attack +2 is better than +1 or % bonuses due to how tier-based magic scaling works.
2. Vestige of Night (Recluse's Remembrance Relic – Guaranteed Drop)
Collecting Affinity Residue activates Terra Magica.
Auto-activates Terra Magica, giving +15% magic damage constantly during combat. Recluse can easily farm Affinity Residue from ranged spells and keep Terra Magica up. Stacks with all other magic attack relics and ults.
3. Suffer Blood Loss + Increase Attack Power on Ultimate Activation (RNG – High Risk, High Reward)
You suffer blood loss and gain a massive attack power boost when using your ultimate.
The blood loss drawback is negated because her ult heals on spell damage. This means you get free attack power scaling every time you ult with no meaningful downside. Insanely good synergy with her spammy, ult-recharging, AoE-heavy spell kit.
Cursed Blade Deflect Build (Securo Mode)
1. Stamina recovers with each successful attack + Physical Attack +2
Infinite stamina sustain = nonstop Cursed Blade spam, especially good vs large bosses.
2. Arc Gauge Charge from Successful Guarding + Physical Attack +2
Helps fuel frequent ultimate usage since guarding = deflecting here.
3. Partial HP Restoration on Post-Damage Attacks + Guard Counter Boost Based on Current HP
Synergizes with constant guard countering (main DPS source); self-sustains while punishing enemy attacks.
Poison + Frost + Bleed Status Build
1. Attack Power Permanently Increased for Each Evergaol Cleared
Passive attack scaling from progression.
2. Knight of the Wise (Inflicts Armament with Poison) + Poison Proc Buffs
Adds poison to your bleed weapon and gives attack power bonus when poison procs.
3. Knight of the Miasma (Frostbite Infliction + Concealment) + Frostbite Damage Buff
Adds frostbite for damage and invisibility; activates chilling mist = more buff stacking. Bleed + Frostbite + Poison = triple damage layering. Works on nearly all bosses.
Bleed + Sapuku + Frost Build (Max Bleed DPS)
1. Grand Burning Scene (Character Skill Boosts Attack + HP Drain on Attacks)
Good if using Cursed Blade, but only worth it if physical attack bonus is higher.
2. Starting Armament Inflicts Frost + +2 Vigor
Adds frostbite to bleed weapon; makes every swing apply multiple effects.
3. Sapuku Relic (Heart Gauge fills moderately on critical hits)
Enables self-stab for massive passive bleed buildup; critical hit = more ultimate uptime.
4. Partial HP Restoration on Post-Damage Attacks + +2 Vigor & Poise
Great sustain relic—pairs well with aggressive bleed play.
