Check out the following Diablo 4 Season 11 Build Tier List for the Highest Pit and Tower Clears!

Diablo 4 Season 11 Best Builds for Highest Pit & Tower Clears

In Diablo 4 Season of Infernal Chaos, the Tower is a new addition this season and closely resembles the Pit in terms of tier scaling and monster difficulty. Both serve as endgame benchmarks, but the Tower now features a proper in-game leaderboard system to better track performance across all classes. The season’s changes also include a rebalance of the Pit, reducing tier scaling and handing every class a sizeable buff, which means five to ten extra tiers for all builds compared to previous seasons.

The Tower and Pit both encourage players to test the limits of their builds, and with the leaderboard in place, the community can see which setups are pushing the highest tiers. While some leaderboard bugs have cropped up during the PTR, there’s still a clear picture of which builds are achieving top results and which classes are thriving under the new balance. So, following us to sort the meta builds we have tested in the PTR with the following tier list:

1. Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian (S Tier)

Hammer of the Ancients (HoTA) Barbarian is leading the charge this season. On the PTR, this build soared as high as tier 124 in the Tower, with its strength rooted in the synergy between resource stacking and new uniques. The reworked Melted Heart of Selig can double your resource pool, and Barbarian's unique gear options allow for stacking enormous amounts of Fury. Ramaladni’s Magnum Opus ramps up the build’s damage even further, multiplying output based on resource levels. This combination places HoTA Barbarian at the top of the current meta, though the build requires top-tier gear and might see adjustments before live release.

2. Evade Spiritborn (S Tier)

Spiritborn’s Evade build is setting a new high-water mark for this new class, notching a tier 109 Tower clear on the PTR. It stands out for its exceptional tankiness and speed, leveraging unyielding hits and high armor scaling to breeze through content. While some bugs have contributed to its near-immortal status, the build’s ability to reach high levels is clear, making it a prime choice for players seeking survivability and agility.

3. Cataclysm Druid (A Tier)

Cataclysm Druid continues to be a force in endgame content, currently holding a tier 105 Tower clear. The build excels due to its interaction with the Melted Heart, which boosts maximum Spirit and enables massive ultimate skill damage through the Ancestral Guidance paragon node. By stacking resource and timing buffs with snapshotting, Cataclysm Druids unleash devastating ultimate attacks. While expected changes may reduce its top-end potential, it remains one of the most robust options for high-tier play.

4. Shadowblight & Golem Necromancer (A Tier)

Necromancer is thriving with multiple competitive builds. Shadowblight, focusing on the key passive and scaling damage over time, has reached tier 103 clears and remains consistent. Meanwhile, the newly empowered Golem build, made possible by the Gravebloom unique, lets players command three smaller golems that scale damage through chance-to-hit and mastery bonuses. Both builds are neck-and-neck in performance, with the Golem setup offering greater tankiness and a fresh playstyle for summoning enthusiasts.

5. Crackling Energy Sorcerer (A Tier)

Crackling Energy Sorcerer is holding strong after a round of class adjustments. Tier 103 Tower clears have been achieved using this archetype, which revolves around lightning damage and maximizing crackling energy output. The synergy between Eidora’s Cameo and Galvanic Azerite Ring further amplifies damage, while a fast-paced dodge-and-destroy approach keeps gameplay engaging. Hydra and Frozen Orb builds are also competitive, though Crackling Energy currently leads for the sorcerer class.

6. Bloodwave Necromancer (A Tier)

Bloodwave Necromancer remains a staple for players who prefer ranged control and minion support. While it doesn’t quite reach the highest clears, it consistently performs well around tier 100, benefiting from the new resource scaling and defensive options introduced this season.

7. Quill Volley & Rod of Kele Spiritborn Builds (A Tier)

Spiritborn is more than just Evade; builds like Quill Volley and other Rod of Kele variants offer a flexible approach, balancing AoE and single-target damage. These builds can comfortably handle high-level content, providing strong alternatives for those who want to experiment with Spiritborn’s kit.

8. Lunging Strike & Mighty Throw Barbarian (A Tier)

Barbarian’s basic skill builds, such as Lunging Strike and Mighty Throw, are emerging as powerful options for Pit and Tower progression. Leveraging the same resource scaling as HoTA, they offer impressive survivability and mobility. With the right gear, these setups can push into the low 100s and provide a more active combat style.

9. Hydra & Frozen Orb Sorcerer (A Tier)

Hydra and Frozen Orb Sorcerer builds have been gaining traction, especially with the removal of resource caps on unique items. Both are expected to clear tier 100 or higher, with Hydra benefiting from unique item synergy and Frozen Orb receiving a fresh boost from seasonal changes.

10. Death Trap & Heartseeker Rogue (B Tier)

Rogue finds itself at the lower end of the leaderboard this season, with the highest Tower clear reaching tier 94 on the PTR. Death Trap remains the go-to build, fueled by the Melted Heart and Beastfall Boots for big burst potential. Heartseeker and hybrid builds offer alternatives, but overall, Rogue is currently struggling to match the output and survivability of other classes at the very highest tiers.
