ACNH April Update 2021 - New Items and Events in Animal Crossing New Horizons April Update
The first anniversary of Animal Crossing New Horizons is just around the corner, experiencing a whole year of the game, do you expect a big celebration? In the past year, Nintendo added a bunch of new ACNH items, furniture, and DIY recipes for various events and festivals through free updates. Now, starting with the ACNH April Update 2021, let’s sort out in advance what events and items will come in April and we’ll keep you updated about the latest confirmed information.
ACNH April Update 2021 - Animal Crossing New Horizons April Events 2021
April is the first full month since the release of ACNH, so lots of holidays and seasonal celebrations started in April. There are already some exciting events are lined up for players to look forward to in the coming month.
Cherry Blossom Season 2021 (Northern Hemisphere): April 1 - 10
The arrival of Spring in Animal Crossing New Horizons brings plenty of changes to your island, along with that, new plants and scenery will appear in the next few months. A new type of seasonal crafting material - Cherry Blossom Petals will be available from April 1 to April 10 in the Northern Hemisphere. When cherry blossom trees are in bloom on your island, you can catch the pink cherry blossom petals falling from the sky with a Flimsy Net or Net tool. Once you got the petals and the recipes, you can craft a set of adorable pink cherry items such as Cherry-Blossom Branches and Blossom-Viewing Lantern.
Bunny Day 2021 (Both hemispheres): March 28 to April 4
Bunny Day is the first seasonal event after the release of New Horizons, it is a typical spring event in the AC series equivalent of Easter. During the Bunny Day, there are 6 types of eggs to collect and can be used to craft Animal Crossing items in Bunny Day Series, the event runs near two weeks in 2020, eggs pretty much took over your island, anything else you were trying to do during that time was a lot more difficult, it was even a torment for players. So fans hope the Bunny Day 2021 will be a bit different, at least make it shorter. According to the previous update in ACNH, a new set of Bunny Day 2021 items can also be expected.
Update:
Bunny Day event 2021 is included in the ACNH March 1.9.0 Update, and will start on March 28, Zipper will visit your island on that day and you can also collect eggs for crafting new items, unique Bunny Day items will also be on sale at Nook's Cranny this year. Fishing Tourney 2021 (Both hemispheres): April 10
The Spring Fishing Tourney in ACNH is scheduled for April 10, C.J. will show up at the Plaza until 8:00 PM if you want to sell fish. Fishing Tourneys are always held on the second Saturdays of January, April, July, and October.

ACNH April 2021 Update - Animal Crossing New Horizons April (Spring) DIY Recipes
Once April starts, you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom season and catch petals to craft your favorite cherry items. Isabelle will also give you an Outdoor Picnic Set Recipes so you can enjoy the cherry-blossom season. In addition, the young spring bamboo season will last until May 31, so you can continue to obtain the bamboo material throughout the whole of April.
