ACNH Bastille Day (Le 14 Juillet) Update July - Release Date & New Items In Animal Crossing Bastille Day Event
Release Date: July 10 - July 20
Le 14 Juillet (Bastille Day) it’s a brand new french inspired seasonal celebration. Bastille Day event has never featured in any previous Animal Crossing games and is debuting for the first time, despite it only being a couple of items. This ACNH Bastille Day event update starts from July 10 and in honor of Le 14 Juillet, along with an exclusive Phrygian Cap that can now be obtained for a limited time.
Le 14 Juliet is actually based on a real-world event, is commonly known as Bastille day in english-speaking countries outside of France, which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In French, it is formally called Fête Nationale, which became an official holiday in 1880. They commemorate the acts of a crowd of French people fatigued by the king's reign who stormed a jail to obtain weapons and release inmates. It was the beginning of the French Revolution. The Phrygian Cap was formerly worn by Romans and Greeks who had been liberated from bondage to slavery and thus symbolized everything about which the French revolutionaries were concerned: freedom, equality and pursuit of liverty.
ACNH Bastille Day 2021 New Items

Since the launch of the latest update back in April, this ACNH Bastille Day item has been time-locked until now, it is the first time this clothing item has been officially available. As always with seasonal celebrations, if you make your way to the resident services and access the Nook Stop, or use the nook shopping app to buy Animal Crossing Le 14 Juillet item with cheap 880 ACNH bells, available from July 10 until July 20. The Phrygian Cap comes in one of five designs including red, green, orange, light blue and purple with a random variant available for sale each day. You will still have enough time to buy all of the different ACNH Bastille Day items, due to the fact that, the Phrygian cap is considered a fairytale and outdoorsy item, which it's perfect for Label’s challenges too.
Since this is the final ACNH item of the previously unreleased content from the Animal Crossing April update, which means we are much closer to the next Animal Crossing New Horizons update in 2021.
