ACNH Valentine's Day Guide 2022 - Event, Items, Villagers & More In Animal Crossing Valentine's Day
On Monday, February 14 is Valentine's Day which has become a traditional celebration of love and affection in multiple regions of the world in real life. The good news is it's also been a part of Animal Crossing games too and despite not being with the launch version of New Horizons was eventually added in an update last year. ACNH Valentine's Day Event 2022
ACNH Valentine’s Day now although only a small seasonal event rather than larger holiday events like Easter and Halloween. Valentine's Day is much more interactive than the typical seasonal celebration like Groundhog day for example that literally only introduced a Recetti item. So it does see a few more activities and little secrets than usual. Isabelle would mail you Valentine's letter. This is a tradition that started in new leaf. The Valentine's Day letter will also contain a present in honor of the event. Isabelle's gift will either be the chocolate heart or the heart-shaped bouquet which are the same Animal Crossing items available from the Nook Stop. Isabelle will select these at random though which means you'll also get a random variation too.
ACNH Valentine’s Day Items 2022
It's worth highlighting the seasonal items that introduce to the Animal Crossing New Horizons Valentine's Day event. As with any seasonal celebration, if you head to the resident services or boot up the Nook Shopping app on the nook phone and scroll over to the seasonal tab, you can check out the latest additions in honor of Valentine's Day. These items include the chocolate heart and the heart-shaped bouquet. Unlike the majority of seasonal items obtained this way, both of these items come in a variety of designs and colors.
The chocolate heart is available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and strawberry chocolate designs. Whereas the heart-shaped bouquet is available in red, black, purple, pink, white, and yellow. However, only one design of each will be available on any given day but they were available from February 1st and continue through to February 14th. If you want to gift any of these two special villagers at Animal Crossing Valentine's Day event, be sure to order them.

Speaking of villagers, ACNH Valentine's Day update is one of the few seasonal events that sees villagers get somewhat involved too. Much like Isabelle residents of your New Horizons island will also send you Valentine's Day letters, each with gifts attached. However, there is a catch to this mechanic, it's only possible to receive these types of letters and gifts from villagers if they're a high enough level and basically your best friends. So it's entirely possible to receive 10 letters in addition to Isabelle's each with a gift or receive none.
It really depends on your friendship level with your villagers. The easiest way to tell if you're best friends with a villager is if they've given you their villager photo because that's also a random mechanic too. It's possible to be best friends with them without having received the photo yet. But if you talk with your villagers every day, attend birthday parties, and give them gifts, your mailbox will probably be full.
ACNH Valentine's Day Exclusive Cards 2022
If you're looking to hand out Valentine's Day letters or send gifts to your villagers or friends even, ACNH Valentine's Day event introduces some adorable limited-time postcards. If you head to dodo airlines and check out the postcard stand, you can select from some exclusive valentine's day cards. These are exactly the same as normal postcards and can even be written and sent in the same way, but they do offer a very special design that can only be used during the Valentine's Day seasonal event and in the lead up to Valentine's Day itself.
ACNH Valentine's Day Brewster 2022
Valentine's Day adds to Animal Crossing New Horizons can be found at the Roost and is often overlooked. If you head to the Roost during Valentine's Day, Brewster will welcome you, and instead of serving cups of coffee will instead serve hot chocolate in honor of the Animal Crossing Valentine's Day celebrations. This is a pretty cute detail and is the only day you can order Brewster's special drink. If you have a friend and want to invite them to visit Animal Crossing New Horizons for Valentine's Day, taking a trip to the Roost would be a really nice treat for them.
