Diablo 4 Season 10, titled "Season of Infernal Chaos", is set to bring a plethora of new features, updates, and mechanics. Read this D4 Season 10 update guide, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season.
Start Date: Tuesday, September 23, 2025, immediately following the conclusion of Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim. Characters from Season 9 will be transferred to the Eternal Realm. Seasonal items will move to a Withdraw Only stash tab, but items unretrieved at the end of Season 10 will be lost forever.
Inspired by past mechanics like Angelic/Demonic Powers, Horadric Powers, and Vampiric Powers. Functions as a "light vs. dark" stat system. Players can enhance abilities using borrowed seasonal powers. Located in the character pane under the Chaos Power interface. Grants extra bonuses if certain thresholds of Angelic or Demonic stats are met.
Tips
Players should decide early which alignment (Angelic/Demonic) to pursue for optimal bonuses. Keeping flexible “bridge”D4 items in your stash can help adjust to early drops.
Features:
Sparks for Mythic crafting.
Runes as crafting materials for Mythics.
Perfect-rolled Aspects.

Potential direct Glyph XP upgrades (not confirmed, but requested).
Revamped as a core seasonal activity.
New enemy waves and difficulty modifiers.
Old exclusive drops like Shard of Verthal and Crown of Lucion may return with buffs.
Changes:
Modifiers may become punishingly harder, aimed at endgame veterans. Updates to Infernal Hordes will be permanent post-Season 10 for the game.

At least one new unique item per class. Designed to revive weak builds or enable entirely new builds. Blizzard’s past buffs haven’t always made non-meta builds viable, so the community is cautiously optimistic.
Lower crafting requirements for runes. Deterministic crafting (choose the rune you want instead of random upgrades). Current drop rates will be adjusted to make Mythic crafting more accessible to average players.
A new IP collaboration is expected (similar to the previous Berserk collab), though the IP hasn't been revealed yet. Includes premium shop skins and possibly unlockable cosmetics through gameplay. Players want cosmetics tied to gameplay content, not just shop-exclusive items.
Skill Tree Rework:
Confirmed to be in development, but the release date is unknown. May integrate new items into skill trees to increase build variety.
Loot and Rewards Changes:
Better drop rates for rare boss loot (e.g., Andariel). Higher Greater Affix rates in WT4 or future WT5. Reduction of “garbage loot” fatigue via loot filtering or pet auto-salvage.
New Seasonal Reputation:
A reputation system that ties into the season’s narrative and activities. New Seasonal Storyline and
