When you first start Animal Crossing New Horizons, there are four airport colors you can be randomly assigned, including green, orange, yellow and blue. The different ACNH airport colors mean that you may get some items in a locked color, which is the only color that will be sold at Nook’s Cranny. For example, when you get a green streetlamp, the snack machine will come in gray. The user also posted an image that incorporates all the color variations. What to note is that PraiseHolo's theory is correct in most situations but is not means 100% accurate.

What is the Best Airport Color in ACNH?

Each player can have their own favorite airport color in Animal Crossing, it only affects the color of certain pieces and probably the decoration on your island. According to a vote on Reddit, most people chose the blue airport, but other fans have different answers. You can design your island based on the airport color.

- Green: green is the main color of the Animal Crossing series and matches well with the island appearance. Green is not very ideal with a tropical theme. Green is a color neither soft nor dark enough. 

- Orange: orange is a loud color that is a little bit clash with the loaded greenery in New Horizons.  

- Yellow: yellow pairs well with the beach, deep blue sea, and green plants, it can arouse people's attention, and is usually not so prominent.

The airport color is randomly assigned and fixed at the beginning of the game, you can’t choose a specific color or change the original one. The only method to obtain another color is to restart the game several times until you get what you want.
