The arrival of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred alongside Season 13 doesn’t just shake up the meta—it completely rewrites the rules of how builds function from level 1 all the way to the deepest endgame.  Read this D4 LoF tier list, ranking best leveling and endgame builds.

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred Leveling Tier List (1–70)

Skill tree power > gear early. Mobility = speed = XP. DoT builds are MUCH stronger than before. Warlock dominates because high base scaling, built-in synergy loops and early power spikes.

 S Tier

  • Dread Claws Warlock - Pure skill-tree scaling, no gear needed early. Built-in crit via Hex + stealth synergy. Fast, mobile, and melts packs instantly. Best overall leveling build in LoH

  • Hammerdin Paladin - Classic spin-to-win hammers = insane AoE. Aura sustain = nearly unkillable early. No downtime, no resource issues. Safest + easiest S-tier pick

  • Hydra Sorcerer -“Fire-and-forget” turret gameplay. Lets you move while dealing damage. Extremely efficient for campaign pacing. Best Sorcerer leveling option

  • Dance of Knives Grenade Rogue - Early AoE from level 3. Permanent imbue uptime (huge buff this patch). Fastest Rogue leveling option

A Tier

  • Evade Lightning Spiritborn – mobility carries leveling

  • Burning Frozen Orb Sorcerer – smooth scaling, good DoT synergy

  • HotA Barbarian – consistent but not explosive

  • Skeleton Mage Necromancer – slow start, strong midgame spike

  • Trample Bear Druid – mobility + tankiness combo

  • Sever Necromancer – teleport-based fast farming

 B Tier

  • Lightning Storm Druid

  • Thorns Paladin (Shield Throw)

Need gear or scaling to feel good. Slower early clear speed

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred ENDGAME Tier List (Pit, Torment, Tower)

Now this is where things go crazy. Endgame is all about multiplicative scaling (charms + cube). DoT stacking. Interaction abuse (double-dipping multipliers)

S Tier

Abyss Fracture Warlock - Overlapping AoE + strong single target. Hex stacking → double damage mechanics. Likely #1 overall build

Dread Claws Warlock - Already proven in Torment 10+. One-shot gameplay. Best all-around build

Summoner Rampage Warlock - Safe, easy, scalable. Best casual S-tier

Legion Rampage Warlock - Free skill spam loops (insane scaling). “Sleeper broken” build

Hammerdin Paladin - 500x multiplier setups. Cube stacking = insane burst

Auradin Paladin -Aura stacking + charm scaling. Top group + solo hybrid

Wing Strike Paladin - Tanky + high DPS. Best survivability S-tier

Whirlwind Barbarian - Finally back to meta. Scales with bleed, doT buffs, multi-weapon system and late-game monster

Minion Necromancer - Up to 28 minions. Fully customizable army. Best summoner fantasy build

Lacerate Druid -“Dark horse” S-tier. Massive AoE explosion scaling. Likely underrated right now

A Tier

  • Judgement Paladin

  • Zeal Paladin

  • Tyrant’s Grasp Warlock

  • Hellfire Demonform Warlock

  • Companion Druid

  • Shadowblight Necromancer

  • HotA Barbarian

  • Hydra Sorcerer

  • Esadora Lightning Sorcerer

  • Blizzard Sorcerer

  • Evade Spiritborn

  • Quill Volley Spiritborn

These builds work well, scale decently but lack insane multipliers or synergy abuse.

B Tier

  • Pulverize Druid

  • Lightning Storm Druid

  • Meteor Sorcerer

  • Blood Wave Necromancer

  • Rogue builds (Death Trap, Rain of Arrows, etc.)

Main issue is lower scaling ceiling and outclassed by DoT or Warlock builds.
